Regina Daniels told me she was 21 when we first met – Ned Nwoko

Senator representing Delta North, Ned Nwoko, says Regina Daniels, his estranged wife, told him she was 21 years old on their first meeting.

Nwoko revealed that Regina gave him her Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), voters card to confirm her age.

The politician has been accused of marrying the actress as a underage, following a certain document circulating on social media.

However, dismissing claims of marrying the actress at 17-years-old, Nwoko posted on X on Thursday:

“It has come to my attention that false claims are being circulated by Regina, suggesting that I married her when she was 17 years old. These claims are entirely untrue and misleading.

“For clarity, during my first meeting with Regina, I asked her age, and she told me she was 21 years old.

“I further asked if she had any document to support this, and she presented her inec voter’s card, which clearly shows that she was born on October 10th, 1998.

“I informed her that I would keep this document in my possession, and I have done so since that day.

“I have also seen a BBC interview Her mom granted after our marriage regarding her age.”

The marriage between Nwoko and Regina Daniels has been experiencing crisis lately, following allegation of domestic violence by the actress.

Their marital crisis further escalated when Nwoko claimed Regina Daniel is addicted to hard drugs and should go for a rehab.

Responding, the mother of two claimed that the lawmaker introduced her to hard drugs, in a bid to make her wild during sex.
