US lawmaker calls for prayers for abducted Kebbi school girls

United States lawmaker, Riley Moore, has called for prayers after 25 girls were kidnapped at Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, Kebbi State, and their vice principal murdered in a brutal attack.
The girls were whisked away during an attack by the gunmen on Sunday night at the school located in the Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of the state.
Reacting to the development, Moore wrote:
“Please join me in praying for the 25 girls who have been kidnapped and for the repose of the soul of their vice principal who was killed.
“While we don’t have the details of this horrific attack, we know that the attack occurred in a Christian enclave in Northern Nigeria. The Nigerian government must do more to end the rampant violence.”
Riley Moore also urged the Nigerian government to act decisively, saying the violence has become far too common and must be stopped.
