Amorim: I am not concerned about my future at Man Utd

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has said he is not concerned about his job at the end of another day when a previous move forward was followed by another step backward.

The belief sparked by the win over Chelsea a week ago was dashed in a 3-1 defeat at Brentford that keeps Man United in the bottom half of the Premier League.

Man United have scooped 34 points from Amorim’s 33 league games in charge and are yet to win successive matches.

The promised positive revamp after last season’s woeful 15th-place finish is yet to come to fruition, and after the loss, Amorim was forced to answer more questions about his future.

“I am never concerned about my job – I am not that kind of guy,” he told BBC Match of the Day.

“It is not my decision. I will do the best I can every minute I am here.”
