‘What’s the value of a Nigerian life to Nigerian leaders?’, says Yemi Alade after Kebbi, Kwara bandits attacks

Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has expressed deep sadness over the abduction of 25 schoolgirls and killings and kidnapping of church members in Eruku area of Kwara State.
Three worshippers were killed and 35 others, including the pastor, taken away by bandits during a church programme at a branch of a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in the Eruku area of Kwara State on Tuesday evening during a programme.
The tragic attack occurred less than 24 hours after the abduction of 25 students at the Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, at Danko/Wasagu Local Govment Area of Kebbi State, on Sunday night. The vice principal of the school was killed by bandits during the attack.
The two incidences also came in the mix of the killing of Brigadier General Musa Uba by fights of the Islamic State for West Africa Province (ISWAP), an ISIS affiliate.
In a post on her verified Facebook page on Thursday, Alade bemaoned that incidences as this is one of the reasons the Nigerian passport is not respected anywhere in the world.
“What service is the Nigerian leadership committed to providing for its people?…It is equivalent to the same amount of value that we have taught the world to treat us with accordingly,” she wrote.
