Romeomania expands global reach with new singles after VAR album

Afrobeat artist Romeomania, born Stafford Romeo Souverin, is strengthening his international presence following the release of his 2024 album VAR. Known for blending Afrobeat rhythms with AfroZouk and contemporary pop influences, the artist continues to build a growing audience across Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
After unveiling VAR, Romeomania shifted focus toward a new wave of singles, including Peur d’aimer, Fake Love, and Plus vite. Each release showcases a different facet of his artistic direction while maintaining the rhythmic foundation that defines his sound.
Peur d’aimer explores themes of emotional vulnerability and trust in modern relationships, reflecting the hesitation many feel in opening their hearts amid uncertain social realities.
In contrast, Fake Love and Plus vite adopt a dance driven approach. Drawing on AfroZouk elements, both tracks emphasize vibrant rhythms designed for dance floors and live audiences.
Romeomania’s digital footprint continues to grow, with an estimated one million followers across social platforms and more than 600,000 on TikTok. Earlier releases such as Ça va aller, Tague-moi, and Fou de toi helped establish his reputation within Afro-influenced pop music.
As he continues releasing new material, Romeomania appears focused on balancing emotional storytelling with energetic production a formula that positions him among emerging voices shaping the contemporary Afrobeat landscape.
