Meet Yajna, the Swedish artist, with bold vision to serenade African music scene
This is the remarkable story of Swedish musician, Yajna, a passionate, female entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Africa Rising TV and Afro Vision, who has bold and ambitious plans to make a big splash in the African music scene.
Yajna has already scored many plus as a
Board Member of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival and a part of a GEF delegation visiting Nigeria in September 2025, for the Global Entrepreneurship Festival Business Mixer in Lagos.
During her visit in Africa the GEF delegation also visited Accra, Ghana to shake hands with President of Ghana, John Mahama. Yajna has just visited Ghana once more where she performed during the Award and Gala night at GEF in Accra, where she also had a mission as a distinguished board member.
Yajna visited Nigeria back in 2024 to perform at the GEF in Akure, Ondo State. Yajna was also on the speaker panel for the Women Congress during GEF to spread words of inspiration and do what you love.
With her love for the African people, culture, music and lifestyle Yajna is now ready to take the next step in her career where she sets her goal to embark into the African music and entertainment scene.
Nigeria and Lagos will have Yajna visiting soon to work on her new album where she blends Afrobeats with her own sound of soul and RnB.
Her new album sparks a message of love for music and doing what you love. She will collaborate with Nigerian artists and producers to get that sound of Afrobeats she is looking for. Nigeria was with no doubt Yajnas first choice to spend time to record new music.
Yajna is highly involved in several projects on the African continent and it feels natural for her to push her music into the African music scene.
As the CEO and founder of Africa Rising TV and Rising Phoenix Music Group Yajna wants to push and empower aspiring new talents and creators across Africa and the Globe. She runs her record label where she wants to get more talents to be able to work on their talents and passion.
Within her label, she is also a video producer, and has produced all her music videos and a documentary about herself, WOMAN, that can be seen on Amazon Prime.
Yajna is a proud mother of three teenagers, who is highly engaged in work to inspire and empower, especially the youth and she is a spokesperson for woman empowerment and mental health, areas she has great expertise in.
Yajna is also a lover of action sports, such as dirt bike riding, skateboarding and is highly active on the snowboarding scene. She is a dedicated artist and creator with a mission to spread love, hope and empowerment. In all her work, she brings her love for music to the front burner.
