Acclaimed Nigerian artist, Tiwa Savage, has said that she is not in a romantic relationship with fellow singer, Wizkid, despite confessing that she loves the latter.
This statement is coming following Tiwa’s r revelation in a recent interview that she once had a romantic relationship with Wizkid.
She said the relationship was kept away from the spotlight because Wizkid preferred to remain discreet, even though he openly flirted with other women under the guise of protecting their privacy.
Her disclosure ignited reactions, with not a few Nigerians saying she was referring to Wizkid, given the long-standing rumours of a romance between the two.
But in another interview with TheBreakfast Club, Tiwa Savage has now dismissed the claims, stressing that while she has deep admiration and respect for Wizkid, he was not the celebrity in question.
“Shoutout to wizkid. I love and respect him but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure but it’s not him”, said Tiwa.
