FBI release images of ‘person of interest’ in shooting of Charlie Kirk

The FBI has released images of a “person of interest” in the Charlie Kirk shooting, and offers a $100,000 reward for information

The killer is still at large, but a high-powered rifle has been found in nearby woods, as well as a “footwear impression… and a forearm imprint”

Kirk, an ally of President Trump, was shot at a Utah university – officials say the suspect “appears to be of college age” and fled “into a neighbourhood”

Earlier, two people questioned by police were released

Donald Trump said he will award Kirk the “Presidential Medal of Freedom” posthumously

The crime scene feels frozen in time, with attendees’ belongings still strewn across the lawn, reports Nada Tawfik from Utah
