Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, and Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, have welcomed their first child together.
The child is a baby boy.
It was reported that Osawaru was spotted at a hospital on Friday, sparking rumours that she was in labour.
The politician confirmed the news in a brief post on her official Facebook page, announcing that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy,”,
The message immediately sparked a flurry of congratulatory reactions across social media.
The new arrival adds to the evolving story of their high-profile union.
2Baba and Osawaru formalised their relationship earlier this year, following the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Their relationship quickly gained public attention, from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family visits and traditional rites that followed.
In July, the couple held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja, attended by close relatives.
