FIFA confirms Klum; Hart to host 2026 World Cup draw

The draw for the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place on Friday, December 5, at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
As is normal in major global events of this magnitude, sports and the arts will collide to deliver an elevated show for the millions of viewers following the balls and pots that will mark the symbolic kickoff of the first-ever World Cup featuring 48 teams.
According to FIFA’s official website, the gala will be hosted by Emmy-winning model, producer, and television personality Heidi Klum; comedian and actor Kevin Hart; and actor and producer Danny Ramírez.
“Being the host of the final draw once again, 20 years after participating in the show in my home country, is truly extraordinary.
” The World Cup unites the world like nothing else, and being part of that magic again, on an even bigger stage involving three host countries and 48 teams, is an incredible honor,” said German model Heidi Klum, who previously took part in the 2006 World Cup draw.
The group Village People along with singers Andrea Bocelli and Robbie Williams will be among the headlining performers at the World Cup draw gala.
“The maestro Andrea Bocelli, one of the most acclaimed classical voices in history, will take the stage alongside global superstar Robbie Williams, both accompanied by American singer and renowned multi-talented artist Nicole Scherzinger,” FIFA said in a public statement.
It added that “once the draw concludes, Village People will deliver an iconic performance of Y.M.C.A., their signature hit.”
