Asari Dokubo: Pan criticising Tinubu in viral video is my brother

Frontline Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo, has said the man seen in a viral video criticising President Bola Tinubu over the current economic hardship in the country is his brother.
The video of a man with a striking resemblance and similar physical features to Dokubo recently surfaced on social media.
Dancing and sermonising, the man told Tinubu to step down over the prevailing hunger in the land.
He decried the rising cost of petrol and other items, stating that Nigerians cannot continue living in this manner.
Several social media users reached the conclusion that the personality in the video is Dokubo, a sworn supporter and avid ally of Tinubu.
In his reaction to the claims in a clip, Asarisaid persons insisting he is the one in the viral video are those who hate him.
Dokubo said the figure in the viral video is his “brother from Bayelsa state”.
“I’m not the one in the video. He is my brother, Theophilus. He is from Bayelsa state and I’m from Rivers state. He is from Nembe, while I’m from Kalabari,” he said.
“But we are brothers. Very good brothers. Don’t mistake me for him.”
He reiterated that Tinubu remains his friend, adding that the president should be allowed to complete his second term.
“That trending video is not me; it’s my brother, Theophilus. I urge Nigerians to stop mistaking me for him. As for me, Tinubu remains my friend, no matter what he does.”
