Naomi Campbell: No more wildlife, I’m just a mother now

Acclaimed model, Naomi Campbell says she has left her wild days behind and now sees herself simply as “just a mom.”
The 55-year-old, who is raising two young kids, shared the emotional side of being a mother in a new campaign for fashion designer Tolu Coker’s Spring 2026 collection.
Instead of the catwalk, Campbell starred in a cinematic short film exploring motherhood and Black womanhood in fashion.
“I’m just a mom. That’s how I think of myself today,” she said.
Naomi, who welcomed her daughter in 2021 and a son in 2023, through surrogacy, revealed that motherhood has given her a new sense of discipline and joy. “With my kids I’m fun, but I’m measured. I find myself saying things my grandmother used to say to me,” she added.
The British icon glazed in retro-inspired looks for the shoot ranging from a white mini dress with knee-high socks to a striking lemon gown and tailored brown outfit.
Naomi admitted she was never looking for a father for her kids, stressing: “They are 110 per cent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.
“Those who know me know that more than anything, I always wanted to be a mother,” she said.
