Poland shoots down Russian drones after ‘huge number’ violated airspace

Poland’s prime minister says a “huge number” of Russian drones violated the country’s airspace during strikes on western Ukraine
Speaking ahead of an emergency meeting, Donald Tusk said it was the first time Russian drones had been shot down over Poland
A military operation has ended after Polish and Nato aircraft were deployed and most airports have reopened. Russia has yet to comment
